Hello. I'm Shaz.
Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you're already struggling. I understand, because I've been there too. You don't need to have the right words, or know exactly what's wrong. You just need to feel like something isn't quite right. That's enough.
I offer a calm, collaborative space where we go at your pace, focusing first on helping you feel safe and supported. Together, we'll explore what feels meaningful to you, without pressure or judgment.
How I Work
I draw from different approaches to support you as a whole person. From talking therapy, gentle body-based work, to practical tools for day-to-day life. Each session is tailored to what feels right for you in that moment.
My approach is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming. Sessions are calm, paced to suit you, and never about being analysed or pushed before you're ready. You remain in control of what we explore and when.

Who This Is For
You don't need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes it's the quieter struggles that feel the hardest to name or validate.
Anxiety & Overwhelm
When everyday tasks feel too much, or worry keeps you stuck in loops of overthinking and stress.
Low Mood & Disconnection
Feeling numb, flat, or disconnected from yourself and the things that used to bring you joy.
Burnout & Exhaustion
Running on empty, struggling to rest, or feeling like you've lost yourself in all you do for others.
Trauma & Past Experiences
Carrying difficult experiences that still affect how you feel, relate, and move through the world.
Feeling Stuck
Knowing something needs to change but not knowing where to start, or feeling trapped in patterns.

You're not "too much" and you're not "not struggling enough." Whatever brings you here is valid, and you deserve support.
What You'll Experience
Therapy isn't about fixing you — because you're not broken. It's about creating the conditions for you to heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
Less Overwhelm & Reactivity
Learn to pause, ground yourself, and respond to life's challenges rather than react from a place of stress.
Better Nervous System Regulation
Understand your body's signals and learn practical tools to work with your natural rhythms and responses.
Clearer Boundaries
Discover how to communicate your needs with confidence and protect your energy without guilt.
More Capacity for Joy
Rediscover pleasure, meaning, and authentic connection in your relationships and daily life.

Hearing from people who've been through this process can help you imagine what might be possible for you too.

FAQs

Somatic exercises Vs Somatic Therapy Somatic exercises and somatic therapy are related but not the same. Somatic exercises are body based practices such as grounding, gentle movement, breath awareness, or noticing physical sensations. These can help regulate the nervous system and build body awareness and are often used as self support tools. Somatic therapy is a form of psychotherapy delivered within a trained therapeutic relationship. It uses the body alongside emotions, thoughts, memory, and relationship to support deeper healing, including trauma. In somatic therapy, the pace, safety, and meaning of body sensations are carefully supported by a qualified therapist rather than used as standalone techniques. Is this counselling or coaching? Both are available. Many clients blend therapy (for depth and healing) with coaching (for day-to-day momentum). We’ll tailor it to you. Do you work online? Yes—initially remote UK-wide via secure video. In-person sessions in Loughton, Essex will become available. Is six weeks enough? Six weeks creates traction and clear next steps; deeper change often benefits from 12+. Do you diagnose ADHD/Autism? No, but I’m ND-affirming and can help you navigate routes and supports. Is this suitable if I’m in crisis? If you’re in immediate danger, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent mental health support, contact NHS 111 or your GP.
